Kim Kardashian Is Building A $100,000 Panic Room In Her House After The Paris Robbery

Daily Mail- Kim Kardashian is trying to make herself feel better after being bound, gagged and held at gunpoint in her Paris residence in early October. It’s not enough for the 35-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star to simply be holed up inside her $20m Bel-Air mansion that is located in a gated community. Mrs Kanye West is also building a state-of-the-art panic room, is hiring the type of security that looks after government officials and is also calling her therapist at all hours, a source told InTouchWeekly. The panic room will have a large room, a bathroom and cameras. ‘It will be made to withstand a fire of over 1,000 degrees and a 7.0 earthquake,’ said an insider. The construction will begin immediately. The cost could run as high as $100,000 depending on how much security she has installed.

You know the old joke, “Why don’t they just make the whole plane outta the black box material?”? Well that’s how I feel about super rich celebrities and their mansions. Make the whole goddamn house a panic room.  Fuck one panic room. Make the whole place a panic room. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are worth a bazillion dollars combined. Forget dropping $100,000 on one room. Drop 5 million and make the whole house a fortress. That’s what I would do if I were rich and famous. The reason I don’t do it now is because a) I don’t have any money and b) my life just isn’t that valuable to me. Sure, I like my job and am having a pretty good time, but I’m not Kim and Kanye. They are living the most glamorous and awesome lives imaginable. Vacations, yachts, private planes, the best restaurants, the best hotels, the best villas, the best everything. You gotta protect that heart beat at ALL COSTS. If I were them, I wouldn’t travel in anything but a tank. Literally a tank just rolling down the street with me inside. Kim is making the right decision here. She just needs to take it like 40 steps further.

PS- Not related but kinda related. Did you know the little girl in the 2002 movie “Panic Room” is Kristen Stewart? I didn’t know that for the longest time. Kinda interesting.
