The Trailer For The New Wolverine Movie Will Probably Be The Most Emotional Thing You See Today

What the hell was that? I mean don’t get me wrong. That looks like a good, complete, well-rounded movie. I watched the last Wolverine flick and almost walked out of the theater like three different times. So seeing a trailer with some substance was nice. I just didn’t realize I was going to get Johnny Cash singing “Hurt” while a bunch of emotional stuff happened during a Wolverine trailer. I mean I’m not expecting “Solsbury Hill” to be blaring while a nuclear family goes through the ups and downs of life. But Jesus that was gripping even though I’m not totally sure what happened.

And as I was watching this KFC told me that this is Hugh Jackman’s ninth time playing Wolverine. NINE TIMES MRS. BUELLER (shout out to anyone that gets that reference). Crazy shit other than the fact that Hugh Jackson looks exactly like Wolverine. Dude was born to play that role and it will be weird when he passes the adamantium to a new actor.

P.S. Look at Marvel get all fancy at the end of that ad with the “Released In Cinemas” line. Wolverine ain’t about cinemas. He is a Release In Theaters guy because he is a crazy motherfucker with metal claws that does shit like this to people.

Just because you have a short name and a fancy, raw poster doesn’t make you an artsy movie (even though said poster is pretty fucking awesome).
