The Only Way The NFL Can Regain It’s Dignity Is By Firing Roger Goodell

So the Josh Brown story is all over the news right now. Yet another embarrassing black eye (no pun intended) for the NFL and Roger Goodell. This is the THIRD, count em THIRD disgusting domestic violence case that the NFL has tried to hide the last couple seasons. Ray Rice, Greg Hardy and now this. Three clear cases of the NFL trying to sweep beating women under the rug. Three distinct cases where there was OVERWHELMING evidence of domestic abuse and the NFL falling over themselves to pretend they didn’t see it. Letting players continue to play until the controversy became so huge they had no choice but to act. Once again the NFL claiming they tried to investigate but they got nowhere. Once again authorities calling them liars. Once again every single person with a brain knowing the NFL tried to hide domestic abuse from the public. It literally never ends with Roger Goodell. It’s one debacle after another. The NFL hiring private investigators and spending millions of dollars on things like Bountygate, Bullygate and Deflategate and then doing their best to ignore real crime and social issues like concussions, domestic assault and child abuse. It’s INSANE. Every second that Goodell remains in power is a slap in the face to America. It’s the NFL saying we don’t care how corrupt, evil, disingenuous we are we can do whatever we want and there is nothing the fans ca do about it. If any other CEO had this many controversies in their tenure they would have been fired years ago, but somehow Goodell remains unscathed. The league somehow remains seemingly oblivious to the fact this has been the worst PR run in the history of the league. Maybe the fact ratings are down will finally force the NFL to wake up, but I doubt it. Regardless as long as Roger Goodell remains commissioner one thing is clear. They don’t give a fuck about their fans or general decency.
