Daily Mail- A Southwest Airlines flight attendant has become a social media star after dressing up as a flaming Samsung Note 7 smartphone for Halloween.  The American airline company had to evacuate a plane last month when a replacement model of the troubled Samsung Note 7 smartphone began smoking inside one of its cabins.  As a result, the FAA implemented a travel ban on the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. Despite the trouble the device has caused, it clearly didn’t dent the cabin crew member’s sense of humour, as she fashioned an elaborate costume mimicking the smoking phone for her October 31 outfit.  The woman was seen laughing and joking with passengers ahead of the flight to San Francisco out of Salt Lake City International Airport. According to onlookers, she was joking that officials wouldn’t let her on the plane.

Bravo! Bravo! A+ costume idea. You can’t teach that sense of humor. Have you flown on a plane recently? If you have you know it’s laugh out loud funny how airlines single out the Galaxy Note 7 during flight announcements. I swear, airlines would be more okay with you waltzing onto the flight with a hand grenade than a Galaxy Note 7. For every other device they’re calmly like, “Please be sure to put all handheld devices into airplane mode during the duration of the flight. Thank you so much” and then they get to the Galaxy Note 7 part and they’re like, “PLEASE TURN OFF YOUR GALAXY NOTE 7. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD POWER IT DOWN! MAYBE EVEN THROW THAT GOD FORSAKEN DEVICE OUT THE WINDOW!” It’s hilarious. Shout out to that flight attendant for making light of it.

PS- I’ve never quite understood the point of airplane mode. Why are we forced to do that? I’ve never once heard of a plane going down cause someone forgot to put their iPhone into airplane mode. If it were really that important and serious, airlines would make us give up our phones so they knew every phone was placed into airplane mode. But I still get crazy nervous about it. One time I forgot to do it and I was like, “Welp we’re gonna crash. Super excited for my Mom to see my flight number on CNN and have a heart attack.” They’ve got us trained like dogs with that airplane mode shit.
