Iowa State Will Wear Decals On Their Helmets Tonight Honoring The Officers Who Were Shot And Killed

Good stuff from the Cyclone football team. Tough year for their football squad so far but good on Matt Campbell and the boys on the decals honoring the two police officers, officer Justin Martin from Urbandale and Sgt. Anthony Beminio of Des Moines, who were shot and killed. Always nice when the local team steps up after a tragedy like the one that happened in both Urbandale and Des Moines yesterday morning. Few things bring more people together than football so hopefully everyone can set their troubles and sadness a side for at least a few hours tonight and enjoy the game. You’ll be hard pressed to see me ever root for Iowa State but that part of the state could really use a W and these aren’t normal circumstances. Go Clones.
