Hamilton Audience Disappointed That Celebrity Guest Was CIA Director Mike Pompeo
NY Post- “Hamilton” fans were disappointed when they learned which “celebrity guest” was attending Sunday’s show.
“There was a ton of security at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, so people were waiting to see who this VIP was,” explains an audience member.
“The line was convinced it was Madonna.”
But any pop-music fans were let down when the mystery guest was new CIA Director Mike Pompeo.
Just a little appeteaser to get the blog wheels moving this morning. I have the entire office to myself and I plan to make the most of it: farting my damn dick off because there’s no one around to accuse me; eating old lunches out of the fridge that people forgot about; going to the bathroom with the door open. I’m living the LIFE.
Unlike Mike Pompeo, who disappoints Hamilton fans by not being Madonna. Sheeesh. Poor CIA Director. You’d think the fans would be happy enough that they were finally seeing Hamilton, but now they need a damn celebrity guest in the audience too? Probably should have seen it with the original cast, with Lin Manuel Ariana Grande, because now all the celebrity guests have moved on to the newer musicals. Jake Gyllenhaal and I went to see “Sunday In The Park With George” this past weekend (Jake was in it, I was watching).
Gotta say, being a secret service agent would be pretty cool. Sure, taking a bullet would suck and you gotta be hyper-vigilant. But you’re also keeping tabs at Hamilton, the Superbowl, and Mar-a-Lago. And banging hookers in Colombia.
