Amy Schumer Is Stealing Jokes AGAIN In Her New Special Which Is Getting KILLED By Viewers

What’s the old phrase? Fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice, you shouldn’t steal jokes every single time you write a new comedy special? Something like that. It’s crazy to me Schumer is under fire for doing this AGAIN. Like, she’s already been through this. There is this 12 minute video of her stealing jokes:

And look, as someone who has to make jokes all day every day and try to stay fresh, it’s hard. So many jokes have already been done…but holy shit, I’m not on a stage doing a Netflix special! Doesn’t she know people are going to see her blatantly rip off these other comedians????? If she’s paying homage to them, that’s one thing. I will reference pretty well known jokes all the time in blogs, it’s par for the course. She is taking jokes, changing 2 words, and making them her own. It’s cringeworthy. It’s insane. I don’t get what she’s trying to accomplish from doing this, and it definitely isn’t ending well for her.

And as it turns out, her new special is getting absolutely crushed. Murdered.

Decider reviewed all 876 “Member Reviews” of the special that are currently posted on Netflix.com, and the results are pretty grim: 33 subscribers gave it 5 stars, 17 gave it 4 stars, 22 gave it 3 three stars, 85 gave it 2 stars, 710 users give it 1 star, and 9 gave it zero stars. That makes the average rating for The Leather Special 1.35 stars. Schumer’s popularity has certainly seen better days.
