Ray Lewis Delivers a Powerful Message as Only Ray Lewis Can

.

You know that part in Pulp Fiction when that kid comes out of the back room firing the hand cannon at Jules and Vincent but all the bullets miss and Jules has “a moment of clarity” because he’s convinced God saved them with a miracle and he decides to change his life forever? Well this is my moment of clarity.

Until the moment I watched this video, I’ve wandered through this veil of tears with no direction. No purpose. My spirit has been an empty vessel, which has just been filled to the brim with the sweet nectar of Ray Lewis’ wisdom. I was blind, but now I see.

I mean, it’s all here. Practical, specific and exactly the kinds of lessons from my new Life Coach that you can apply to any situation. Presented in handy, PowerPoint-like slides. I especially like the parts where he admits “I was guilty of certain things,” but somehow he decided not to create that particular meme. But no matter. The rest is here in all it’s sage glory. It’s like listening to the Sermon on the Mount, with Jesus talking in indecipherable syntax and inexplicably wearing headphones.

And just to show how Ray himself has come to live by his own inspiring words:

When Ray was involved in the January, 2000 murders of Jacinth Baker and Richard Lollar and Baker’s blood was found inside Lewis’ limo, he believed in himself that he could cover up his involvement by ditching the blood-splattered white suit he was wearing. And he did. It was never found.

When Ray beat the murder conspiracy rap by testifying against his two buddies in exchange for lesser charge, he wrote the vision of his guilty plea to Obstruction of Justice.

Ray’s steps never counted more than when this man of God used his good Christian feet to walk toward four different women to impregnate them with his six children.

Ray doesn’t just ask for prayer. Like the humble follower of Christ he is, he posed praying on the cover of Sports Illustrated. Twice.

No one has ever asked for support the way Ray did  when he told Shannon Sharpe in an interview, “God has never made a mistake. That’s just who He is, you see…. To the family, if you knew, if you really knew the way God works, He don’t use people who commits anything like that for His glory.” And then paid off both victim’s families to avoid testifying in a wrongful death lawsuit.

Ray found a game plan to help him get back on the field in 2012 and win the Super Bowl. Deer Antler spray.

Thanks be to God. And thanks be to Ray Lewis.
