NFL Network's "America's Game" Strangely Has Every Super Bowl Available for Viewing Except XLIX

. In the ongoing war between New England and America, the only thing funnier than everybody thinking Patriots fans are a collection of irrational, paranoid assholes is them pretending we shouldn’t be. Who’s being irrational when time and time again Roger Goodell’s state-run media goes out of their way to pretend the Pats don’t exist? Remember this little gem from the week before the conference championship games? .

.
Does anyone really want to make the argument that leaving one quarterback out of the promo was just editing for time? An oversight? Someone miscounted and it could’ve happened to Peyton Manning or Cam Newton?

And now can any grownup make a logical case that the one America’s Game – which aside from actual football game day coverage is NFL Net’s flagship show – that just happened to get omitted from the On Demand list is XLIX? The best Super Bowl ever played? And that it’s due to some glitch in the Matrix or a coincidence?

When anyone tries to argue that Goodell doesn’t have a hard-on for his best team and that the network that serves at his pleasure doesn’t intentionally tuck it to the Patriots, you’re the ones who sound insane, not us. He’s Big Brother. NFL Net is his Ministry of Truth. And the Patriots have been declared Unpersons, to be vaporized from any public records possible.

And believe me, just because we point it out, don’t make the mistake we care. Honestly, that ship sailed about a week after SpyGate in 2007 when it became clear the whole world lost it’s collective mind over this team. Then the hatred became a badge of goddamned honor. And fighting it became sport. I’d say like hunting, but it’s more like fishing with dynamite. All too easy. The only reason anyone in New England is still Defending the Wall isn’t because we need to, but because we love to. So by all means, keep the attacks, the slights and the passive/aggressive oversights coming. We need something to keep us busy while waiting for the playoffs to start.
