Elephant Family Uses Teamwork To Save Drowning Calf (Not A Cow)

The rescue at Grand Park Zoo in Seoul, South Korea was caught on video and shows the elephants using teamwork to get the baby to safety.

Almost immediately after the calf slips in the large pool while taking a drink, a nearby adult rushes over to the side of the other elephant.

The two adults then hurry to the shallow end of the pool and quickly walk in towards the baby.

They both lift the head of the calf above the water and slowly guide it towards the shallow end and safety.

First of all, huge shoutout to me for knowing that a baby elephant is called a calf. Now, I know what some of you are thinking.

“Hey Chaps, the article that you linked said calf in the title. That’s probably where you learned that from. Nice try, though.”

You’re right. It’s in the article that I linked to but I assure you that I knew that a baby elephant was a calf. So again. Shoutout to me for knowing that.

Also shoutout to these elephants for being decent elephants. You’re gonna spend a lot of time on the internet today. You’ll be on various sites throughout the day that are sucking these elephants’ dicks or vaginas (again showing my commitment to never say pussy in a blog) dry. Not me. Why are we crowning these elephants? They didn’t let a baby die. That’s not something that we cheer in my neck of the woods. It’s expected. You don’t just look at your baby in the pool who is drowning their ass off and continue to muck about in the muck. You save them. It’s what you do as parents. You know what else you don’t do? Let your baby fall into the pool. You caution your child, elephant or otherwise, to be careful near the edge. It’s just common sense.
