The Trailer For "Stronger," The Jeff Bauman Story, Has Been Released
Safe to say I’m pretty excited for this movie. I haven’t read the book because, well, it’s a book, but I think we all understand that we’ve gotten a pretty sanitized version of the Jeff Bauman story from the media. It’s like we miss the whole middle. We hear about the horrible injury at the Marathon and the next thing we know he’s smiling and waving at the Bruins or the Red Sox. A majority of us don’t know, and probably won’t be able to comprehend once we do know them, the hardships he went through in between there. We don’t know the work he put in and the dedication his loved ones showed. We can’t really grasp the story without knowing all of that at least to some extent, so I’m very excited to see this one.
PS – Am I an idiot? Well, yes. But still, how do they do the missing legs? Is that green screen? Do they have some kind of contraption in the wheelchair where he’s kneeling? This is perplexing me and I’m gonna clear my schedule to think about it.
