Okay listen. I don’t know who this Vic Mensa guy is because I’m not hip to the new school of hippity hip hop. He must be somebody otherwise TMZ wouldn’t be shoving a camera in his face as he walks down the street. But I will say that he’s right. R. Kelly is a scumbag and a piece of shit and should be locked away forever. He’s pissed on 12-year-olds and kept women as slaves at his house. You won’t see me arguing with any of Vic’s points. But here’s the thing, and I’m not the first person to make this point, people don’t really give a shit what a person does if they’ve provided top-notch entertainment over the years. It’s shitty that we live in that type of society but it’s true. You think the guy who made the remix to Ignition hot and fresh out the kitchen mama rolling that body got every man in here wishing is going to prison? AS IF. There’s countless cases of this. Look at Michael Jackson. Dude 1000% did shady shit with little boys under the covers but people were like, “Okay, but how good was Thriller?” and MJ walked outta the courtroom like a king.
