Recap Of The 4th Annual Barstool Avalon Golf Classic
On August 5th of 2017, the word had spread and the highlanders came down by the hundreds…and thousands 150-ish strong and descended on Avalon Golf Club for the 4th Annual Barstool Golf Classic. It was indeed a time, and a great time indeed. A successful event that featured zero to none tomfoolery. We also raised a pretty little penny for the great charity, Brave Hearts For Strong Minds.

Brave Hearts For Strong Minds is a GREAT organization run by Stoolies that assists kids who have lost a parent in regards to being able to afford their further education. The children and families are Philly area and this is one of those things where you can actually see the difference you make instead of just writing a blank check to some big charity. Be sure to support this cause and charity whether you played with us or not.
Other than the normal Golf Outing shenanigans, we had a little good ol’ fashion’d putt off.

Overall, 38 foursomes were scrambling for the delightful first prize of a golf extravaganza for four sponsored by Caledonia Golf And Fish Club. Caledonia and True Blue are considered two of the finest public golf courses in America, and the victors will be playing on both. First place went to a foursome that featured three straight scratch golfers with a final team score of -18. No, they did not cook the books or cheat. I played with them for three holes, two of which they Eagled. Legit shooters. Kudos to them.
Big Daddy Trent sank the putt of his life. An 80-footer, swallowed her whole.
Annnnnddd of course delicate featured Frankie was there to jump in his arms like they were filming a scene straight out of Dirty Dancing. Typical Chapstick.
