Those Dang Hooligans Are At It Again. Millennials Are Now Killing The Brothel Industry
ABC – Uber has done it to the taxi industry, Airbnb has done to it hotels — now there are concerns that dating apps are destroying the legal brothel industry.
Rebecca*, manager of the Sunshine Coast’s only remaining legal brothel, said business was down by 40 per cent in the last year. She has blamed the downturn on a rise in the use of internet dating apps like Tinder where people can access sex for free.
You look at the ever growing list of things that have been brutally murdered by millennials. You have Applebee’s and other chain restaurants. You have Blockbuster. You have the housing industry. You have work ethic and you have respect for you elders. But here’s the thing–all of that stuff deserved to die anyway even if it weren’t for millennials. Applebee’s stopped bringing the heat. Blockbuster was actually awesome but at least you don’t get ridiculed for searching for movies in your underwear on Netflix. Owning a house? Yeah right as if I have any idea how to fix any of the shit myself? Work ethic and respecting your elders? Sorry but I’d rather get rich watching Netflix and old people can suck it.
But this latest casualty is where millennials have finally crossed the line. I’ll be damned if these little ingrates tear down what was once such a proud and robust industry. And for what? So they can go out and have sex for free via dating apps? You kidding me? My great grandfather didn’t dodge the draft just so some dude Chad can go out and his dick sucked (oral sex) for free. Back in my day if you wanted to get your rocks off you had to head to the bank to take out a low interest loan, travel 50 miles uphill both ways to your nearest brothel and then pay an arm and a leg just to get tugged off. It was called being an American. But now anybody with internet access just has to swipe right a few times, lower their standards a little and they’re doing anal within a half hour.
Just makes me sick to my stomach to see a small business owner getting F’d in the A like this. And think about all the employees this affects as well. Tinder is putting good people out of a job. Bet you didn’t think of all the trickle-down of your decision to just swipe right instead of paying for sex like a man. Selfish bastards.
