This Chainsaw-Wielding Nun Is A Badass
(CNN) — Across the state of Florida, and up into Georgia and South Carolina, images of first responders have become a welcome sight amid the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. But among the usual uniforms — those of police, firefighters and paramedics — a nun’s habit stands out. And when said nun is wielding a chainsaw, well, that is something that can renew faith in even the most downtrodden. “There was a need, I had the means, so I wanted to help out,” Sister Margaret Ann told Erin Burnett on Tuesday evening. A 30-year education veteran from Archbishop Coleman F. Carroll High School in West Kendall, Florida, Sister Margaret Ann knew of a chainsaw in her school’s closet, so she thought nothing of ripping into a downed tree blocking a road.
People helping people. She don’t need no man. She don’t need no help. She’ll clean up the storm-ravaged area by herself. She’ll pull that damn chainsaw outta that damn closet and clear the road herself. Hey camera guy, maybe stop filming the little old lady and lend a hand instead. Although then we wouldn’t have gotten that video. I was kinda sorta hoping it was gonna turn into a horror movie. It’s too bad that Wes Craven is dead. A murderous chainsaw-wielding nun would make for an AWESOME scary movie. “Oh yes I’m here to help the community with my love and support and chainsaw AHHHHHHHH YOU’RE DEAD!” Blood and guts everywhere. Maybe I’ve seen The Town too many times. There’s just something awesome about nuns (or people dressed up as nuns) doing crazy shit. So if anyone wants to make a chainsaw-carrying nun horror movie, you can have that idea for free.
