This Tribute Video To "The Man Show" With Girls On Trampolines, Explosions, And More Shot In 4K Is Pretty Decent I Suppose

Well that was a fun as fuck. I admit that I really don’t understand what numbers like 4K and 1000 FPS truly mean. What I do know is that video was so ridiculously clear, I would be able see the disappointment in those girls’ eyes if I had shown up to their trampoline party or whatever you want to call that compilation of awesomeness. Regular idiots like me are blown away for the obvious reasons, but Michael Bay must have gone full Road Trip grandpa while watching those explosions and stunts in the background as smokes jumped on trampolines.

They should be teaching this in film schools around the globe for how you make a video. It had the four basic groups of awesomeness covered: Hot girls, explosions, stuntmen, and bubbles. Don’t sleep on bubbles either. Every parent out there knows how fun bubbles are once their kids reintroduce them into their lives. What a tribute video. And if any show deserves to have a tribute like that, it’s The Man Show.

Chappelle’s Show rightly gets a ton of credit for being an incredible part of the Comedy Central lineup in the early 2000s. But I feel like The Man Show kinda fell through the cracks and has become a bit underrated all these years later. Just an absolute tour de force of hilarious if not crude humor. I think it was kind of a TV version of Barstool before Barstool was even a twinkle in Dave Portnoy’s eyes. Granted if they made The Man Show in 2017, there would probably be a march on the Comedy Central headquarters with torches and pitchforks. But back in the day, there was nothing like it let alone nearly as good as it. And look at the hosts. One is, in my opinion, is clearly the best late night host on TV. And the other runs one of the most popular podcast channels in the universe. Even Man Show 2.0, which is when most of us bailed out, had Joe Rogen who is also dominating the podcast game and got in on UFC before it truly blew the fuck up. Not sure what the hell happened to that Doug Stanhope (h/t Wikipedia for giving me his name), but those are three power players in the 2017 media landscape. And they all were on The Man Show before they really exploded into pop culture. Almost like seeing that 1995 Mariners team with a young ARod, Griffey, and Big Unit all together in Seattle. I guess Doug can be Joey Cora in this scenario.

And instead of me blabbering on more about how much I loved The Man Show like some old overweight fan boy, instead why don’t you watch the clip above again and then go down this rabbit hole of old Man Show clips.
