Another Amazing Browns Tale Of Incompetence: The Cleveland Front Office Left Work At 5pm...THE DAY BEFORE THE TRADE DEADLINE
Just when you think the Browns couldn’t get any more incompetent, they go ahead and pull a stunt like this…and totally redeem themselves!!!
Big Cat and Chaps already double dipped about the Browns celebrating the fact they got Alabama Slammer AJ McCarron too much and forgot to report it to the NFL. That’s bad. But that’s still after the fact the coaching staff wanted Jimmy G from the Pats, but the front office reportedly decided to clock out for the day at 5…THE DAY BEFORE THE TRADE DEADLINE!!! The 49ers subsequently swooped in and got the looker locked down thereafter.
That’s flabbergasting. Not just in an NFL office where people in season essentially work 24/7, but anywhere. Is there anyone in America that can get away with such behavior in the workplace? Shit, there could be literally nothing going on at Barstool HQ and people will unnecessarily have an Office Mexican Standoff at their desks because they don’t want to be the first one seen leaving. King Nate, who arrives majestically at the break of noon everyday, would smite whoever to the heavens if he saw them leaving at 5pm on his watch.
But to sneak out of the office like Peter Givens on a Friday at Intertech the night before one of your biggest, time sensitive days of the year is beyond egregious. I gave/give Eagles GM Howie Roseman a lot of lip, but I would never, EVER say the man doesn’t grind his balls to the bone. Howie eats/sleeps/lives on the phones. But I guess that’s just the Cleveland difference. Punch in at 9, clock out at 5. That’s the Browns way to success. If I were a Cleveland fan I would not be opposed to firing the entire FO and bring in Kevin Costner and his staff from that shit movie Draft Day to run the ship. Honestly, could they do any worse? I’d take the false state of happiness over anything going on in reality at this point.
PS – Don’t let Hue Jackson’s daughter get hot! Wreck these idiots!
PSS – Obligatory factory of sadness.
