Teddy Bridgewater Sheds A Few Tears At The Start Of The Game After Being Active For The First Time In Nearly Two Years
The last time Teddy Two Gloves was under center for the Vikings he found himself on the ground, writhing in pain with his teammates puking at the mere sight of him. He still isn’t fully back to the point where he’s starting games for Minnesota yet, but just the fact that he’s active again is great to see. I remember there were questions if he could even return from this, which I thought was a preposterous notion at the time. It was non-contact, how could that possibly be true? And now after Zach Miller nearly got his leg amputated two weeks ago, I’m all for Teddy’s tears. He’s earned ‘em. I’m still not over Robert Edwards’ knee injury from playing touch football in the sands of Hawaii, so I’m certainly in no position to be judging anyone else just trying to get their own career back on track.
Any time a guy can bounce back from an injury that causes his teammates to puke, his return deserves a bit of celebration. Those are the rules.
