Cris Collinsworth Had The Smoothest/Cockiest Slide-In To Sunday Night Football Last Night

One of my favorite things to watch on a weekly basis is Sunday Night Football, and it’s not necessarily for the game itself, because the NFL sucks this year. Nope, it’s for when Al Michaels finishes his dramatic opening monologue and Cris Collinsworth slides in to join the party. It’s unbelievable, and there’s a few of us in the Twitter world who lives for this every week, including Trill and myself. Take a quick look back at some of his best work in the past.

But last night’s slide was something else. Collinsworth knew this game was going to suck and be a blowout. He knew it was Brady vs. Osweiler, Vance Joseph vs. Belichick. He had to take matters into his own hands and steal the show, and he did just that. The moment he slid in he knew he crushed it. It was the perfect combo of cocky and smooth and I loved every second of it. He even gave us a lip bite to let the ladies at home know he still fucks.

From that point moving forward it was all down hill as the Pats showed they play a different sport than the Denver Broncos, but we got what we were coming for. Collinsworth’s slide is a show stopping move and we need more people noticing it. I bet if you asked Cris about it, it’s the thing he looks forward to all week long. Romo might be able to predict the future on the field, but he doesn’t have this Ace up his sleeve. Thank you for your service Mr. Collinsworth.
