Huge News: Turns Out Method Man Is A Lax Bro

So Method Man went on Le Batard and Stugotz’s show the other day on a sports media network that is not to be named. During the interview it came out that Method Man, a kid who grew up on Long Island, naturally was a lacrosse player in high school. And actually it turns out that a young Clifford Smith ended up playing against a young Jon Weiner in high school back in the day. But the real story here is when it comes to undercover lax bros out there in the world, Method Man just jumped all the way to the top of the power rankings. Surpassing Chris Hogan, Peter Dante and Geraldo Rivera.

And if you listen to the interview, you can tell that this wasn’t just Method Man taking up the sport for a season or two. Lacrosse actually means something to the guy. First off, there was the story of how his coach got him a pair of cleats that also happened to be the only pair of shoes he owned so he’d wear his cleats to school. Which really puts some shit into perspective. And then he talks about how it was an outlet for a kid like him to take out his frustration on the field. Who knows. Without lacrosse then maybe Clifford Smith ends up taking out his frustration in other ways that gets him in trouble and then he never becomes Method Man and then we never get Wu-Tang Clan and he never becomes this absurdly successful human being who is worth millions of dollars. I’m not saying that lacrosse is the only reason why Method Man has been able to live the life he currently has. But it certainly played a part in that.

But yeah. For all the haters and losers, of which there are many, who say that lacrosse is “just for rich preppy white kids who can’t hit a curveball”, just know that we have Method Man on our side now. So you can all go eat a bag of dicks for all I care. Method Man is a lax bro and now it’s my life’s mission to have a catch with the guy. Sport of the future, baby. Sport of the future.
