I Need Beavis And Butthead To Start Watching Music Videos Again
Yesterday Ria and I were discussing Metallica (yeah I realize how strange that probably sounds) because she watched their famous Moscow performance from ’91 and the crowd’s liveliness made her emotional to the point of tears. I recommended she check out “One”, my personal favorite ‘tallica song, and immediately thought of the above, where Beavis and Butthead commentate the music video. I can’t watch it without my face morphing into the crying face emoji. This, of course, made me go down the rabbit hole of every music video they watched together, and I seriously think they’re some of the funniest videos on the internet. If you’ve never seen these, please indulge yourself in my personal favorites.

There are countless other examples on YouTube FULL of dumb shit that wouldn’t fly in 2017, and you’ll fall down the rabbit hole very easily so be careful. The point of this blog is pretty much this: I need Beavis and Butthead back on that couch watching music videos again. Not just rock/metal, everything. I need to know what they’d say about Taylor Swift and Migos and Ed Sheeran and Lorde. Et cetera. I also need to know if I’m alone in this petition or not, because I wasn’t alive for Beavis and Butthead’s heyday, so I don’t even know if people like them or not, honestly. No idea.
Hopefully you all think they’re as funny as I always have, because if not, this blog was a waste of everyone’s time. Heh heh. But I don’t really care. Heh heh. Because that’s metal.
