FACT: The Best Way To Get Everybody Up For The National Anthem Is With An Electric Guitar
I don’t care who you are, where you come from, what your beliefs are. You hear the Star Spangled Banner performed on an electric guitar and it’s your body’s natural reaction to stand up for the entire duration of the song and head bang at the very least. There are very few things in this world that will always move the needle. Those are Rock & Roll, sex, and violence. People will always tune in to those things regardless if they think they want to or not. Why? Because it’s basic human instincts. We’re all animals deep down inside and Rock&Roll speaks to that side of us. Just look at that crowd.
All 12-15 people in the crowd. Do you see a single one of them sitting down? Of course not. Because it’s physically impossible to stay seated when someone is shreddin’ away on some Francis Scott Key. If you were reading this blog at your desk, you’re probably standing in the middle of your office right now. If you were reading this blog while taking a shit, you’re probably standing in the bathroom stall right now.
