Quick Shifts 12/8: Many People Are Asking, Are The Philadelphia Flyers Back?

Here’s what I’m saying. Nobody knows what the future holds. Not you, not me, not any of those nerds who watch hockey with graphs and calculators. Nobody can predict the future. Maybe the rest of the eastern conference comes down with a bad case of chicken pox and are forced to roll with AHL lineups for a few weeks. Maybe Sidney Crosby decides to retire to pursue his life’s passion of opening the largest retail mayonnaise shop in North America. You never know what the future holds. So to say that the Philadelphia Flyers have no chance at all to lose 10-straight games and still go on to make the playoffs is just flat out ignorant.
By the way. Jake Voracek had 3 assists last night and now he leads the NHL with 30. Also tied for 3rd in the league for points with 37. Not a big deal.
P.S. – 4 overtime games last night. Great night to ride the overs.
