Donovan McNabb Is The Latest To Be Accused Of Sexual Harassment Via Report, With Other Former NFL Stars
BGN – A former NFL Network employee has accused several former NFL players of alleged sexual harassment, according to a report from Bloomberg. Former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb is among the group. Other former players and media personalities include: Ike Taylor, Marshall Faulk, Warren Sapp, and Heath Evans. The Ringer president Eric Weinberger has also been accused. Here’s what was said about McNabb. “Donovan McNabb, a former analyst, also texted her explicit comments, according to the compliant.” NFL Network has responded to these allegations by suspending Faulk, Taylor, and Evans pending investigation. McNabb no longer works for NFL Network; he’s now employed by ESPN and beIN Sports. It remains to be seen if the companies will take any action.
Cue all the “#5 will always love you!” comments. Jeez. These are all allegations, obviously. McNabb is “Only” accused of sending lewd texts, but it’s still not a good look being lumped in a report as a sexual predator with other famous figures. You’re innocent until proven guilty in America, but the court of public opinion is another matter. Bonds and Clemens tested positive for the sauce but because they were in the Mitchell Report (and other obvious reasons) most people wouldn’t know they were technically clean their entire careers. All it takes is one sketchy name drop and you’re toast forever. And it doesn’t look good for McNabb and what was once a wholesome Chunky soup image.
Oh how far the mighty have fallen for arguably the biggest Eagles name in franchise history. And this all this alleged stuff is coming after McNabb has served jail time for DUI’s. Yes, plural. His arrest video is still a sad watch.
That cough syrup will get you every time. Just ask any Purple Drank/Flaming Moe connoisseur. Also, when the cop who suspects you’re hammered asks where you’re coming from, don’t say “The parking lot right over there”. Gotta think of a better answer than that, Donny.
