Taco Bell Announced They Are Adding French Fries To The Menu On January 25th

Business Insider- Taco Bell is adding fries to the menu. The Mexican fast-food chain announced on Wednesday that it is adding nacho fries to the menu, beginning on January 25. The fries, served with a dippable side of nacho cheese, will cost just $1.

Customers can also order “Supreme” fries for $2.49, or the larger serving of “Bell Grande” fries for $3.49, served with even more toppings: beef, pico de gallo, nacho cheese, sour cream, and additional add-ons like guacamole, bacon, and jalapeño peppers. The news comes just one day before McDonald’s rolls out its new Dollar Menu, which does not include fries. Typically, a small order of fries costs around $1.29 at McDonald’s.

You hear that Fat Ronald? That’s Taco Bell coming for that ginger ass from south of the border. For years Taco Bell has been thriving outside the bun with their tacos, nachos, and exciting Mountain Dew flavors. And they still have no use for that bun. But now they are coming for the base of every fast food company: French fries. Sometimes your whole decision on whether you are going to Taco Bell or a different fast food joint depends on if you want fries or not. And now Taco Bell just added them to the squad like the Warriors adding Kevin Durant. Last month I blogged about how McDonald’s new Dollar Menu underwhelmed me and today’s news can’t be making stockholders in the Golden Arches all that happy.

Now I will admit that I am a little hesitant about these fries for one reason: The seasoning. If Taco Bell doesn’t nail that seasoning, those fries can become trash real quick. Granted, Taco Bell nacho cheese is one of the greatest erasers in culinary history. I would actually eat all my veggies if I could dip them in some Taco Bell nacho cheese. But bad seasoning on fries can actually ruin a Mount Rushmore food. But I will go into any review of these fries like I do with every review, with an open mind and partially clogged arteries.

But the real winner in all this? That chick that went bananas and accused the Taco Bell cashier of being racist for not serving her fries. Now she can get fries at Taco Bell whenever she wants! Or maybe the cashier in this video is the winner since she will have at least one less weirdo screaming at her during her shift.
