This Biblically American Rant On The Eagles Should Go Down As One Of The Greatest Speeches In This Country's History
The Gettysburg Address. JFK’s inaugural speech. Kyle Brandt’s linguistic orgasm on the Eagles, America, and life. A solid 1-2-3 punch for the greatest oratorial disquisitions in this country’s history. And is Sir Kyle Brandt (yes, Eagles nation has knighted him) in the wrong? No. No he is not. The Eagles are unappreciated underdogs, as were everyone else he mentioned at one point in their existence (besides Hall & Oates as that band has forever and will forever fuck – Just call 719-266-2837 to see what I mean). America, at one point, was the world’s ultimate underdog. If you root against the Green, are you a dirty Redcoat Loyalest who swears to the tyrant King George? Maybe. It definitely isn’t the best look. Because a win for the Eagles is a win for the underdog, and apparently for the U.S. of A.
Washington. Hamilton. Roseman. Pederson. GOD. BLESS. AMERICA.
PS – May have to revise the beginning and put Rocky’s speech in there for the greatest You don’t end The Cold War and not get recognized. If I can change, and you can change, EVERYBODY CAN CHANGE.
