Goddammit. What did Philadelphia do to deserve this? New England gets Marky Mark saying he’s fine if the Eagles win because he once played one in a movie. Like the movie where he tried to jerk Tom Brady off into a Solo cup to get his bear’s wife pregnant never happened.
And what does Philly get? The Eagles fighting Drago. The Eagles as Ali. The Eagles wrestling Thunderlips the Ultimate Male. The Eagles a Lincoln Hawk in one of the best movies ever made about a truck driver winning his son’s affections back from a rich guy through the splendor of competitive arm wrestling. And it’s only Wednesday. By the time we get to kickoff Stallone will probably have them as Judge Dredd, Barney Ross or the guy he played in Stop or My Mom Will Shoot! And I’ll bet my soul that we’ll have the Eagles as Rambo and the Pats as Murdock. Meanwhile Wahlberg will still be sitting on his fucking hands and playing it both ways.
