Matthew McConaughey Just Took Out A Full-Page Newspaper Ad To Congratulate MVP Nick Foles.... "From One Local To Another"

Raw unbridled power. Pure beauty. That’s what I feel when I’m gazing into this full page ad. Two of my favorite men appreciating each other for just being each other. And it goes even deeper than simply being a couple of award winning Texans too. McConaughey essentially wrote the script for Big Dick Nick’s journey years ago, without anyone even knowing it (h/t @JeffFisher79)

Is that not the entire Foles experience in a nutshell? From 27/2, to getting run out of town, to almost retiring from football, to bringing it all together for PHILLY PHILLY; all the while cementing a nice final payday for his career to boot. It’s truly the stuff of legends, and a path (Oscar winner) Matthew knows pretty well himself.

The newspaper ad will seem like a completely random move to most, but it really is so perfectly McConaughey in the end. Dude is a real life Rust Cohle without the drug habit, who simply lives to prophecate and pass along the vibes all over the land. Props to him for making the good times roll and giving the MVP his just due in Longhorn country. People forget that Nick Foles has been a Texas QB stud since Day ONE… But my Austin spirit animal would never forget. Appreciate you Mud.
