The Salad Bar Is Open: Here's The 2018 All Hockey Hair Team Video

It’s the best day of the year, every year. I’ve mentioned it plenty of times over the last few weeks but the All Hockey Hair Team video is one of the only things on the internet that continues to get better with time. Most viral videos are good for about a week or so in this day and age before we get sick of them. If it’s really good, maybe give it a month. But the All Hockey Hair Team videos have been going strong since 2011. That’s 7 straight years of internet dominance so shoutout to everybody involved who keeps churning out these goldmines.

But just like that, another year of the Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament has come and gone. Congrats to everybody who made the top 10, especially Carly Beniek for shattering that glass ceiling and being (I think) the first girl to make the squad.

And shoutout to the rest of the sauce squad who didn’t make the cut for the video but still put on a show at the greatest high school hockey tournament in all of the world. Obviously the Hockey Hair Team is probably the biggest draw for this tournament but if you actually watch the games as well, you know that’s where the true beauty of this tournament is at.

And of course, shoutout to Minnetonka for winning the Class AA championship.

Obviously nothing but Stoolies in the crowd. Not that that’s a surprise.

And congrats to Orono for winning the Class A championship.

Winning a state championship in anything is no joke. That’s something that’ll bond these kids together for the rest of their lives. They’ll be able to get back together 15-20-30-40 years from now and still talk about that time they won states. They may never have the same team ever again. Some guys may never play real competitive hockey ever again. But no matter what, Minnetonka and Orono have these championships for life. That’s some real shit.

P.S. – Make sure to check out the Hendrickson Foundation–the charity highlighted in this video. They do amazing work for disabled hockey players and they have plenty of different events/ways to donate for you to help make a difference. Hockey Changes Lives.

P.P.S – I can’t let that shoutout to Brock Boeser go unnoticed. Henrik Lundqvist might just want to retire now because he’s been dethroned as the most handsome man in all of hockey.
