Joe Kelly Trolls Red Sox Spring Training Camp As Jim Buchanan From JWK Punta Gorda

LOVE me some Jim Buchanan! The man knows no boundaries when it comes to asking the questions that the people NEED answered. The best part about this is that you know Joe Kelly isn’t trolling his own team so much as he’s trolling the nerds who cover the team down there. Yeah, the Red Sox have been labeled as somewhat of a sensitive group by the Boston media (because of the Boston media), but you’d be irritated too if you had to deal with those dudes in your face every single day.

I also love that Kelly is actually good now for the first time since he came over from the St. Louis Cardinals midway through the 2014 season in the John Lackey trade, because he’s one of the funniest players on the team. Until now, Red Sox fans haven’t gotten the chance to see that yet. Count me in as being excited to see where the Jim Buchanan series goes, but nothing is going to top his National Anthem standoff, which did not occur during spring training, nor was it during a regular season game. He pulled that shit before Game 6 of the fuckin’ NLCS in 2013.

PS — In the event that an actual crazy person runs onto the field where the Red Sox are taking infield practice, perhaps it would be a good idea to have a security guard on hand who is under the age of 97 years old.
