OH MY FUCKING GOD!!! I’m shaking. Literally shaking ladies and gentlemen. I startled the entire office when I saw this and gasped and sprinted to the radio room to show Carrabis. I can’t believe it. I can not believe my eyes. Daniel Bryan is my favorite wrestler IN THE HISTORY OF THE BUSINESS, OF ALL TIME, and he has been medically cleared to return to the ring a little over two years after supposed brain injuries forced him into retirement. The entire scenario around the retirement itself was weird, because he was cleared by every doctor in the world that WASN’T the WWE’s, and things for a little bit seemed like the WWE made him call it a career because his existence was a burden to Roman Reigns’, but that’s neither here nor there. It’s a whole friggin’ dilemma that I’ll write about at length tomorrow. He’s cleared by every doctor that has evaluated him at this point, so now I’m just so filled with joy and happiness over realizing that not only do I get to see the American Dragon in the ring once again, I get to see him in a WWE ring again. Maybe even at WrestleMania this year, teaming with Shane McMahon to take on Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn?! Who knows. Think of all of the matchup possibilities. Shinsuke Nakamura. AJ Styles. Kevin Owens. Sami Zayn. Johnny Gargano. Pete Dunne. BRAUN STROWMAN. OHMYGAWWWDDDDDD. The Yes Movement lives on, and I’ve never been more excited. Nobody and I mean nobody makes the needle move for me like Bryan does, and while he was the most over performer the business had since Austin in 2014, he’ll be even more over in 2018. Let’s have ourselves a fucking year of the graps, gang.

Here’s some of the chaos that’s unfolded on Twitter in the past few moments:

There’s about a billion more tweets but my timeline is so bananas right now I can’t keep up with them all. Here’s a SIX THOUSAND WORD blog I wrote about Bryan’s career last year if you need a refresher on the guy…

…and I provided that link because this blog is a jumbled mess of excitement that made, I’m guessing, little to no sense. Expect a longer, more thought out blog taking you through the process of him retiring and attempting to get cleared through today later on, and an emergency From The Top Rope in a little bit as well.
