Johnny Manziel Threw Today at the University of San Diego's Pro Day #ComebackSzn
And once again we’ve reached a point with Johnny where we didn’t think he’d ever reach again. Johnny turned 25 back in December, but back during the bad times his dad was quoted saying, “I truly believe if they can’t get him help, he won’t live to see his 24th birthday.” Now he’s sober as an ox, got his life seemingly back on track, and is throwing in front of NFL scouts again. A guy picked in most celebrity death pools back in 2016 is on track to be an NFL QB in the next two years.
Later this month Johnny will join The Spring League, which last year featured players like Fred Jackson, Kellen Winslow, and Ahmad Bradshaw setting a good stage for Johnny to further showcase his skills and what he still has. Like I said earlier, he’s only 25! There’s absolutely still time left for him to get back on the horse and have an NFL career. That’s insane to say considering all he’s been through already, but facts are facts time is on his side.
Hereeeeeeee’s Johnny….throwing bullets might I add. The fact he woke up early in the morning in San Diego and wasn’t hungover is progress in itself.
