I talked about the bullshit goaltender interference call in last night’s Nashville vs Florida game at lengths in today’s episode of Quick Shifts. Go and give that a watch right now if you haven’t already. Joining me in my frustrations with the league is the most important hockey fan of them all, Carrie Underwood Fisher. And boy oh boy is she freakin’ peeved.
You can piss me off, I don’t care. You can piss off 99% of the hockey watching population and I won’t care. But if you get Carrie all riled up? Well now we’ve got a serious issue on our hands. Because if Carrie were ever to pack up her shit and say she’s out on the NHL? Well you can bet your sweet ass that I’m walking away with her. You think anybody is gonna stay around and pick Gary Bettman over those legs? Get real, bud. The NHL is in the midst of a crisis. If they don’t fix this goaltender interference rule soon, then they lose Carrie. When they lose Carrie, they lose the rest of us. And then that’s how video games become the 4th major sport in the US.
Hey Gary. Do you really want to let those eSports nerds become a major sport all because your league is too incompetent to keep Carrie Underwood happy? Didn’t think so. Fix it.
