Gus Johnson's Call For Khris Middleton's Game-Tying Buzzer Beater Brought Back March Madness Gus

A few years ago we got March Madness Gus Johnson taken away from us, but today on this rainy first Sunday of the NBA Playoffs he has returned to our ears. As many of you just watched the crazy Game 1 between the Bucks and Celtics, Khris Middleton sent the game into overtime on a crazy shot with 0.5 seconds left on the clock with a 35 foot three point prayer. The Bucks went on to lose in overtime and I advise you to check out Greenie’s blog for a full recap of the thriller, but Gus Johnson’s call here is all time. It sounds like he’s being electrocuted and seconds away from dying. You could play this over a person being brutally murdered in almost any movie and it’ll sync up. It’s almost identical to the Donald Trump “NOOOOOO” lady finding out he was elected President.

March has not been the same since Gus left the coverage. When I’m bored and I want to get fired up I just watch this compilation video on loop for about 30 minutes. I need the Bucks to go as far as possible in the playoffs just so we can get more moments like today. Gus Johnson forever and ever and ever.
