Correct Opinion: Ultimate Frisbee Is Home To Some Of The Best Highlights That Sports Have To Offer
I’ve been doing this whole blogging thing for a few years at this point. And throughout my years of strumming away on the keyboard, I’ve learned one thing–that my takes are always 100% factually accurate and correct. This one right here is no exception.
Whether you want to believe it or not, professional ultimate frisbee is home to some of the greatest highlights that sports have to offer. I mean how many times can you watch a grown man slam a ball through a hoop? How many times can you watch somebody whack a ball with a stick? How many times can you watch somebody slap a little piece of rubber into a net? Just saying that shit gets old and repetitive after a certain point. But slangin’ that disc behind the back for a buzzer beater goal?
Well inject that shit directly into my veins and put it on a loop forever. Has Michael Jordan ever hit behind-the-back buzzer beating pull to end the first half? I didn’t think so. Because while the clutch gene passed over MJ, Jonathan Nethercutt has it in spades.
Be careful who you call a douchebag throwing around the disc in the quad in college. He could very well just turn out to be the greatest athlete of a generation.
