I think everyone had extremely low expectations for music’s biggest night after seeing the way the Golden Globes went down a couple weeks ago. However, they absolutely crushed it. The show felt like it was moving along even though it clocked in at almost 4 hours. It started off on a great note with Harry Styles opening.
For the rest of the night the performances were awesome. Dua Lipa, Silk Sonic, DaBaby and his granny choir, Post Malone, Cardi B and Megg The Stallion WAPPing all over the place. Trevor Noah was….eh. But it didn’t even matter. Left and right the ladies were cleaning up the awards. Megg The Stallion, Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Beyonce, Billie Eilish…all collected their Grammys. RECORD breaking night for Taylor Swift and Beyonce. Swift is the first female artist to win Album of the Year three times. Beyonce has the MOST Grammys ever. 28 trophies.
