Is Steve Rogers Actually Hanging Out On The Moon With Nick Fury?

Alright, so 'The Falcon and The Winter Soldier' has wrapped up, we've got a new Captain America (who DOESN'T   murder criminals in cold blood in front of civilians), Bucky has finally made amends with everyone on his "list", and Steve Rogers was nowhere to be found - although he was brought up a few times throughout the series!

Joaquin Torres brought up a conspiracy that Steve was hidden on the moon in the first episode, and he was constantly referred to as "gone" - but not "dead" or "passed' - just "gone"...

What if old man Steve Rogers is ACTUALLY hanging out on the moon with Nick Fury?!

We know Fury is up in space already from the 'Spider-Man: Far From Home' post-credits scene, and Steve certainly seemed fascinated by his first trip into the galaxy during 'Endgame', right?

I mean, Deadline's Justin Kroll posted the following story back in January….

EXCLUSIVE: In a move that is sure to rock the Marvel Cinematic Universe, sources tell Deadline that Chris Evans is cleaning the dust off his Captain America attire as he is expected reprise the role in the MCU in some form.

It’s still vague whether the deal is closed, but insiders say it’s headed in that direction for Evans to return as Steve Rogers aka Captain America in at least one Marvel property, with the door open for a second film. Sources add it’s unlikely to be a new Captain America installment and more likely to be like what Robert Downey Jr. did after Iron Man 3, appearing in such films as Captain America: Civil War and Spider-Man: Homecoming.

….and I could totally see old man Steve being a mentor to some of the younger heroes in the universe! Maybe he trains the Young Avengers, and acts as THEIR Nick Fury?

That would explain why they were so vague about Steve's whereabouts in the show, too - they were probably negotiating/finalizing the deal as 'Falcon and The Winter Soldier' was shot and didn't wanna be too specific in case things fell through.

When you eventually wanna bring back the normal Steve Rogers for 'Secret Wars' or whatever, run him through that wonky time machine Bruce Banner and Scott Long built in 'Endgame'!

Who knows - check out the latest episode of our breakdown for more wacky theories like this one, though….
