Yankees 3 Nationals 2

Giancarlo Stanton just continues to come up huge for this team. What a monster he has been at the plate this season. He may have had a quiet series this weekend, but the lone hit he had won the game on Sunday. With Judge struggling like he is, Stanton has played like a true MVP. Where in the world are these guys without G? Dead is the answer.

Domingo German was good once again today, going 6.1 IP surrendering just two runs on a Kyle Schwarber bomb while striking out six. The Yankees starters this series all did their job with Jamo and Kluber giving solid efforts themselves. Everyone got on this team for their question mark starting pitching and all they've done lately is prove people wrong. Second best ERA from a starting staff in the AL. Love what they've given this squad lately.

The offense sputtered once again today, but they found a way to win. That's 7 wins in their last 9, and three straight series victories. 18-16 isn't what we wanted through 34 games, but for how bad they looked at first I'll take it. Now the 2020 home run leader Luke Voit returns to the lineup on Tuesday with Gio Urshela also expected to be back in there. Holy fuck have I missed that man. Full strength for the first time in 2021. Maybe Aaron Judge will remember how to hit the baseball too?

P.S. Is BradHand the worst pitcher in baseball history? I've never seen him do well. Not once. It's truly remarkable he has the numbers he does.
