On this week's Podfathers, we had to honor the passing of Eric Carle, who wrote The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Save me your War & Peace, To Kill A Mockingbird, or a little book known as The Bible. The Very Hungry Caterpillar is the greatest literary work that man has ever written. A timeless novel that hammers home the point that you can eat as much of whatever you want and still turn into a beautiful butterfly. I am living proof that this story holds weight til this day. If you disagree with that, you are fat shamer and I will cancel you online then tell your employer who will be forced to fire you. JK, but I stand by The Very Hungry Caterpillar being the GOAT.

Not only that, but Carle also illustrated the second best book in human history "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?". Both of Carle's books were planted firmly on my Top 3 children's books.

Name a better trio of children's books. You can't (For parents that don't know about Mo Willems' Piggy and Elephant books or his Pigeon books, buy them on Amazon now and thank me later).

Yeah there is the sticky situation about how Carle dug trenches for the Nazis during World War II. But we break that down with a Twisted History-esque recap.

Also on the podcast:

- Large recaps his awesome experience with Mick at the Knicks game that led to this scene outside The Garden

- I update how my daughter is now the Scarface of Girl Scout Cookies

- Despite our best efforts, neither Large nor I are even close to the best Barstool employee mentioned on the podcast since JB is a legitimate hero.

We also discuss a 2-year-old getting into Mensa, debate the worst words a kid can learn, and welcome back free samples at Costco and Stew Leonard's.
