The hot stove is still cold as shit, but there’s still plenty to discuss in the world of baseball. Yahoo Sports’ Jeff Passan made headlines this past week when he gave up his Hall of Fame ballot after Joe Morgan emailed a letter to all of the voters asking them to keep steroid users out of Cooperstown. He defends his decision to do that in an interview with us, and we also discuss the Hall of Fame voting process as a whole as well as his philosophies as they pertain to the Hall.

Other topics discussed include the Marlins giving Giancarlo Stanton an ultimatum, the latest on Shohei Ohtani, more details about the 20-second pitch clock, the Red Sox having interest in trading for Jose Abreu, Carlos Beltran interviewing for the Yankees managerial position, Aaron Judge getting votes for New York City mayor, the Rays’ owner sending $40,000 of his own money to a Nigerian hacking scheme, and some Twitter questions from the Grounds Crew.
