Corey Taylor Of Slipknot And Stone Sour Joined From The Top Rope To Talk Some Wrasslin'
Sooooooo this was a really fucking cool moment for me here at Barstool. I’m a huge Slipknot fan. I remember getting the self titled album back in ’99 and I’ve been hooked ever since. Paul Gray is the reason why I started playing bass. When I heard that Slipknot and Stone Sour lead singer Corey Taylor was a big wrestling fan, I jumped at the opportunity to get him on From the Top Rope to mix it up.
In our little sitdown, we talk about how he became a fan, his earliest memories of watching wrestling, who he’d be starstruck to meet in the wrestling world, his experience of working an angle with Baron Corbin at an NXT event, the Attitude Era compared to now, which Slipknot/Stone Sour songs would make the best wrestling entrance themes, his thoughts on some of the guys on the active roster like Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Daniel Bryan, which match he’s most excited to see at WrestleMania this Sunday and a LOT more.
