Hard Factor 8/24: Holy Double Hurricane and Asteroid, Batman!

On today's episode...

- The people in the states that border the Gulf of Mexico, should be on high alert this week as not one but two hurricanes are rolling through the gulf at the same time for the first time ever. They are supposed to be fairly low category hurricanes, hopefully they aren't slow moving flood inducing storms. 

- Belarus is an absolute mess right now with the fraudulent Presidential election a few weeks ago causing mass protests in Minks that now the military has been called in to quell. Lukashenko  the President seems to be worried about the protestors as he was seen walking into his palace with an entourage that including himself was in head to toe riot gear armed with rifles. 

- A terrible story out of Lima Peru as partygoers illegally partying in defiance of COVID restrictions killed each other when police raiding the night club caused a mass stampede toward the only exit  where 13 people were crushed to death.

- Steve Bannon was arrested for allegedly stealing close to a million dollars from the We Build The Wall crowd sourcing effort. The GoFundMe which raised more than $25 million was created by Air Force war veteran and triple amputee Brian Kolfage who repeatedly promised 100% of donations would go directly to erecting the wall. They didn't and Kolfage was also arrested.

- Did you hear the big news this weekend, there is an asteroid that NASA is monitoring that is going to come very very close to earth the day before or day after the election. Nothing to see here apparently it's only 6 feet wide and even if it hits earth directly (<1%) it will completely disintegrate in the earth's atmosphere.< p>

- Warner Brothers dropped their new trailer for The Batman from Director Matt Reeves who previously directed Cloverfield, Let Me in, and Dawn and War for the Planet of the Apes. The new batman simply titled the Batman stars Robert Pattison in the black suit.
