Barstool Mommy Vlog: What's In Our Hospital Bags For Baby's Birth Day

As per usual my finger is on the pulse of what Stoolies want, and lately that's been nothing but baby/mommy vlogger #content. Well good news, my guy Pat & I have got you covered.

Currently I'm in week 38 of this 40 week pregnancy (that feels like it's been 1,000 weeks) and there's light at the end of the tunnel (vaginal canal)...

The lil' dude's bedroom is now fully set up with every wildly unnecessary baby accessory known to man, our relationship survived figuring out how to strap in the car seat correctly, and we've got the labor/birth plan set: Gonna try to go au-natural for bragging rights but will quickly switch to drugs after about an hour & then I'll wind up getting a C-Section 20 hours later when the doctor finally figures out I have zero core muscles for pushing.

We estimate that overall (including post-care) we'll wind up doing about 2 days in the hospital, so one of the final things was packing our bags. There's nothing worse than being stuck in a drafty, sterile hospital with none of the comforts of home so I wanted to make sure we did this right. With COVID it's not like anyone else can swing up to the room with what we may need. ::sigh::

If you're a parent reading this & can think of anything we missed please let me know; not sure about Pat but what's in my bag is actually all I'm taking. If you're wondering how you wound up on this blog & want those 7 minutes of your life back, please don't let me know??
