Welcome to Chicago Food Fights. Out of respect for your time: I'll be blunt. I'm extremely fucking jacked up to bring you this video series. I came to you guys about a month ago asking for help and the collective response was nothing short of amazing. I owe you guys a sincere Thank You for helping me even get to this point.

That said this is just a pilot phase. I'll probably get about 4-5 episodes before someone in New York City tells me it's good or bad. If good, then we get to do more Food Fights. If bad, then at least we tried. Right now that's basically all I can do so just keep an open mind. I very much want to aggressively canvas the greater Chicagoland area in pursuit of the iconic local places that make up your communities.

But more importantly I want to give you guys the platform to do it with me. My favorite thing about the potential of this series is that you guys are the ones telling the stories. I'm just here to administer a clean match up that represents the neighborhood. End of the day I want this to be about you guys and the spots you love. If we go down that path together then I think this could be a pretty funny series.

Fortunately we'll find out soon enough.
