Here's A Foolproof Recipe To Follow When Cooking Your Ribs This 4th Of July Weekend

There's nothing more American than throwing some meat over a fire on Fourth of July weekend. Could be as simple as throwing some hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill for 15 minutes. Could be smoking a brisket for 15 hours. Could be something somewhere in the middle like cooking up a rack of ribs.

Now some folks might enjoy their ribs a little more...well done than others. And if that's the case for you then there's another recipe for you to follow. But today I figured I'd help everybody out with a super simple cook on the Weber Kettle since I understand that not everybody is going to be operating on a large offset smoker this weekend. All you need is a grill (preferably charcoal), some sort of pan to hold any sort of liquid to add moisture to the cook, a simple rub with just salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, chili pepper and cayenne, and then a rack of ribs. All things you should easily be able to get your hands on to treat yourself to some killer ribs this weekend.

Sidenote: Also had the smoker rolling while I was doing these ribs for a brisket cook. Think it turned out pretty well.
