When Extremely Infrequent, Nightmares Are Actually Fun

"The sweet isn't as sweet without the sour." One of my favorite quotes ever from the movie Vanilla Sky. I think about it often.

I'm generally a very happy person. I choose to live my life in a pretty confined bubble with all the space taken up by exclusively my interests. My dreams, when I have them are almost exclusively awesome. Lots of times I'll be flying or saving people or solving mysteries. But once in awhile, it's nice to have a bad dream. A scary dream. Something that wakes you up and you think about for a moment. But you get to lay your head back on your pillow knowing it was just a dream. I don't fear nightmares, I welcome them.

I found out today that a bunch of my friends don't feel this way. They are scared of nightmares. Do they not realize they are completely fabricated and not real? Once in awhile you need something different to just break the cycle.
