Save Room For Dessert On Thanksgiving And Try This Incredible Pumpkin Spiced Ice Cream

INGRIDIENTS

1 1/2 cups heavy cream1 cup whole milk

1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin seasoning

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 stick cinnamon

1 cup pumpkin purée1 tablespoon vanilla extract4 large egg yolks1/2 cup  granulated sugar1/2 cup light brown sugar 1/4 teaspoon xanthan gum optional

BRITTLE
-1/2 stick butter
-1/2 cup brown sugar
-1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup toasted pumpkin seeds

METHOD
-whisk together egg yolks and sugar until pale yellow/mixture doubles in volume
-bring milk, cream, vanilla extract, seasonings, pumpkin puree to a boil
-remove from heat and add a small amount to the egg and sugar mixture
-pour in all the cream/milk into eggs and whisk
-place back on the heat and bring to 175 deg F
-remove from heat and place into containers or ice cream machine
