Frank Walks Episode 53: Bartolo Colon presented by BODYARMOR

Nearing the ninth anniversary of his only MLB home run, Bartolo Colon recently stopped by the New York office for a Frank Walk. Colon spent 18 years in the majors, winning 247 games, the most among Latin-born players. During his career, which began with the Cleveland Indians in 1997, Colon began as a power pitcher but, after arm trouble, transitioned into a craft veteran pitcher who became among the most popular players in MLB.

In 2005, Bartolo Colon won a career-best 21 games and captured the American League Cy Young award with the Los Angeles Angels. Colon spent three seasons with the New York Mets, 2014-2016, becoming a veteran guide to their young pitching prospects, including Jacob deGrom. In 2016, two weeks shy of his 43rd birthday, he hit the only home run of his career. I
