Tank Cooks Italian Lemon Ice

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup Lemon Juice 
  • 1 cup Sugar 
  • 4 cups Water 
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Zest 
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Extract


 Directions

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 cup of granulated sugar and stir until it is dissolved. 
  2. Allow the water to cool. Add 1 tablespoon of finely grated lemon zest and 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice, and stir to combine. 
  3. Put into the freezer 
  4. Mix in a blender until the desired slushy consistency
