What he has done in Chicago for Sports Radio has changed the game for every radio personality out there, from the Bulls to the Bears to the Cubs, the White Sox, and the Blackhawks; he knows it all. Many consider him the Sports encyclopedia of Chicago. Mike North is a legendary staple in the Windy City, and when you talk Chicago Sports, you'd better mention Mike North's name, as he invented Sports Radio on the Score 670 in 1992.

Mike North has his share of controversial takes that ended up making him look like Nostradamus after being proven again and again over time that he knows what he is talking about when it comes to sports. New York has Mike Francesa, and Chicago has Mike North. I'm thrilled I got to witness the brilliant mind from the Midwest, and his name is Mike North. He remains the voice of the Chicago fan, influencing many future Chicago legends, including Big Cat.
